I especially like the independent living cottages at Oak Wood Place. There are plenty of rooms and they have nice-sized kitchens. Their food is very good. The staff is terrific, they treated us how we would want to be treated. Cleanliness is excellent too. The location where the community is at is very close to the city of Athens. It has access to transportation if you need it.

Very nice place, friendly, helpful staff and nice rooms. Lovely grounds with nice outdoor areas to walk or sit. Several levels of living facilities. I highly recommend Oak Wood Place if you are looking for a place for a loved one.
